Looking for one last event to get in before the snow starts flying?  Blackhawk Marine and Pierre Sports Center are holding a Walleye  Tournament Challenge on September 13th at Oahe Marina!  This event is a 2 or 3 per boat event(1 member must have purchased a boat from Blackhawk or Pierre Sports) and is limited to 60 Teams.  The entry is $40 per person and the deadline is Friay the 12th.  Sounds like a great time with the chance to catch lots of fish and maybe cash a check at the same time!  Contact Blackhawk Marine(605-787-9000) or Brian(307-258-8898/ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. ****2015 Tentative Schedule****

We have contacted the Marinas and at this point would like to let everyone know our plans for the 2015 Season...We start our season with the cool water temp, post-spawn walleye bite at Glendo Reservoir that always throws a curve ball into the mix!  Next stop we will be back at Glendo, with warmer water temps and HUNGRY/ACTIVE fish that promise to always produce BIG BASKETS!  Our 3rd stop along the way will be Boysen Reservoir, with warm weather/water and an even hotter bite!  Finally, we are extremely excited to announce that we will be crowning our Team Of the Year and also a Champion at our INAUGURAL IN-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!  Mark your calendars and more details will follow.....

  • Top Finisher $250 for Top LUND & $250 Top RANGER finisher. Sponsored by CROWLEY MARINE
  • First Team out of the Money Sportsman's Warehouse is sponsoring $200 certificate.
  • Team "Shoot-Outs" will also be drawn at each event. These will be sponsor driven only, so number of shoot-outs will vary for each event. ($200)

We also offer the opportunity to fish in our (invite only) 2014 Regional Walleye Championship sponsored by Cabela's, where you can compete against the top anglers from the following organizations: Nebraska Walleye Trail, Colorado Walleye Association, Kansas Walleye Association, Texas Walleye Association, South Dakota's The Fishing Crew, and New Mexico Walleye. At the end of the season, the top teams  from each circuit will be invited to fish the regional championship.

**2014 Regional Championship Qualifying** - This year we will take EVERY team that fishes ALL 3 of our qualifying events.  If we do not have 30 teams that fish all 3 events we will then go down our Overall Points List to find the remaining teams teams to to fill 30 spots.  This means the more teams that fish all 3, the more teams we get to bring.  Therefore, it is to your advantage to sign up to fish ALL 3 EVENTS in 2014 to guarantee your spot if you would like to head to Oahe. 

We will be recognizing the Team Of the Year for the 2014 season.  Team of the Year takes home the T.O.Y. CASH (Thanks to Batteries Plus).  Crowley Marine will be giving a $2,500 certificate to be used toward the purchase of a new boat. In addition we will be awarding, one entry to a 2014 Stampede Event of your choice, Team Of the Year jackets, Kick'n Rox Rock Shield and plaques for thier accomplishments.

Please be sure to visit the above link, and make sure to follow ALL Aquatic Invasive Species requirements. 


Contest participants should be aware of aquatic invasive species regulations, especially the inspection requirements.  Any contest watercraft that has been in a water infested with zebra/quagga mussels within the last 30 days, is required to undergo a mandatory inspection by an authorized inspector prior to launching.  Participants violating that regulation will be disqualified. Download the AIS guidelines here.
