Walleye Stampede News!

5/8/2019

This year there are more chances to win MORE MONEY!! The Stampede will be giving 3 teams the chance to win an additional $10,000 at our 1st Glendo Tournament. Here’s how it works. The teams that finish in 1st, 11th, and 21st place, will have a chance to match their weight against a randomly generated mystery number. Poundage doesn’t matter! Each of these teams will need to match their exact fractional weight, to hundredths of a pound, to the mystery number. So you could have a 1/100 chance to win. Better odds than the lottery, and who wouldn’t want a chance?! Example would be if you have 40.25 pounds and the match weight was .25, you win!! Only the 100ths is what your looking for. Great opportunity. A huge shout out to Rooch's Marina for sponsoring this chance to win added money at our first Glendo Tournament.

We will be holding our Rules Meeting for both Glendo Events, at Rooch's Marina @ 6:30pm. Don't forget to sign up for the Bellwood Boats 40x2, all you need to do is simply go into Bellwood's storefront, take a gander, say hello and ask to get signed up for the 40x2 and be sure to say thank you for their support!

New this year, we will be replacing the mixed couples division with the YOUNG GUNS. The combined age of the 2 anglers must be 50 years of age or less. A side note if we do not have 2+ teams for a division that money will rollover to the next event.

WYOMING GAME AND FISH NOTES

Wyoming Game & Fish regulations state that the possesion limit is 6 fish. If you plan on fishing our events, make sure that by the start of our events you do not have any walleye in possession, either at home or in a cooler at camp. When you put a fish in your livewell during our event, it counts toward your limit for that day.

STOP AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES

Contest participants should be aware of aquatic invasive species regulations, especially the inspection requirements. Any contest watercraft that has been in a water infested with zebra/quagga mussels within the last 30 days, is required to undergo a mandatory inspection by an authorized inspector prior to launching. Participants violating that regulation will be disqualified.
